Overview

On Point Consulting Inc. is committed to providing a detail orientated, yet to the point service for its clients in the areas of Project Management, Project Coordinating, Continuous Improvement, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Surveying, Drafting, and Other Technical Services related to the Civil Engineering Technology field. With 14 years of experience as a Civil Engineering Technologist, On Point Consulting Inc.’s CEO/Owner has the skillset to execute its clients’ needs.

On Point Consulting Inc. will hold its representatives to the highest standards in Health, Safety, Environment, Ethics, and Morals. They will be committed to doing every task to the best of their abilities, no matter what the circumstances are. On Point Consulting Inc.’s representatives will be encouraged to stay focused on the task at hand and avoid unnecessary distractions. Personnel

The CEO/Owner of On Point Consulting Inc. was raised on a farm and was taught the value of hard work at a young age. With the want in mind to provide a good life for his future family, he went on to become educated in the field of Civil Engineering Technology and developed a professional career. In parallel with developing a professional career, the CEO/Owner started a life with a very supportive and ambitious woman. Together they built a house in Martensville, SK, doing most of the work themselves. When the time was right they decided to start a family, and now have three young children. Together they truly believe that family is the most important priority in life!

The CEO/Owner of On Point Consulting Inc. is a detail orientated person and wants to be proud of every project he works on!

Upon graduation from the Civil Engineering Technology program at SIAST, Paliser Campus in Moose Jaw, SK., On Point Consulting Inc.’s CEO/Owner started his career working for the Saskatchewan Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure. During his five years of employment with Highways, the CEO/Owner worked with the Aggregate Resource Management group and the Construction Engineering group. When an opportunity arose to move into the Potash Mining industry, On Point Consulting Inc.’s CEO/Owner welcomed the opportunity to broaden his horizons and went to work for Potash Corp - Cory Division. During his nine years at Potash Corp – Cory Division, the CEO/Owner occupied the positions of Mine Technician, Mine Production Supervisor, and Mine Engineering Support. We are experienced in providing leadership with a Safety-First mindset for both rehabilitation and development projects within the underground potash mining environment. Below are a few examples of projects that we have successfully delivered on:

Rehabilitation Projects

We have participated in many rehabilitation projects from small operational support projects through to multi-year capital projects within the underground potash mining environment. Conventional mining, rehabilitation, and support equipment were used in the execution of these projects.

Decline Rehabilitation Projects

The scope of these projects were to remove sections of belt line structure and rehabilitate portions of the existing underground declines. Due to the height of the areas being rehabilitated, an excavator with cutting head, and support equipment were to be used in the execution of these projects.

Belt Line Transfer Projects

We have worked on several belt line transfer projects from simple chute installations through to the removal and replacement of large multi direction transfers within the underground potash mining environment. This includes site preparation and installation with conventional mining equipment, excavator with cutting head, and support equipment.

Belt Line Drive and Take-up Projects

We have removed, relocated, and installed a number of belt line drives and take-ups within the underground potash mining environment. This includes belt line re-alignments, belt line rebuilds, site preparation, and installation with conventional mining and support equipment.

New Ore Silo Project

The scope of this project was to mobilize equipment and develop access to the top and bottom of a future underground ore storage silo. This included the installation of belt line infrastructure, development of declines, safety bays, access corridors, and ventilation corridors. Two drum miners, an excavator with cutting head and support equipment were to be used in the execution of this project.
